Families and Children

There are two basic approaches to Christian education for children -- informational and formational. With the informational approach we teach children about God in hopes that they will develop a relationship with God. In the formational approach we nurture the relationship that children have with God, preparing them to take in the information from the Bible and the traditions of the church. Ministries

Music

St. Mark's has an excellent music program. Music is provided at all services. The Sanctuary Choir regularly performs at the 10:00 AM service, except during the summer months. The Handbell Choir and Praise Music Group perform at selected worship services. During the summer months special musical selections are provided during worship services. Members of the Congregation with musical gifts often perform during worship services.

Youth Ministry

Youth Fellowship happens almost every Sunday evening starting at 7:00 p.m. Most months, we gather at the church for some food, fun, & fellowship, with some music thrown in

Mission and Outreach

The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) works with partner churches and organizations in more than 90 countries and our missionaries serve in nearly 70 countries. A percentage of the church budget is directed to PC(USA) for mission work.
